1 1/2 cups sugar
2 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon soda
2 eggs
1-20 ounce can crushed pineapple with juice
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup chopped pecans
1 cup evaporated milk
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter
1 teaspoon vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350ºF. Grease 9"x13" pan. In a medium bowl combine and mix 1 1/2 cups sugar, flour, soda, eggs and pineapple with juice and pour into prepared pan. Sprinkle the top with brown sugar and chopped pecans. Bake for 45 minutes. In a saucepan add milk, 1/2 cup sugar, butter and vanilla. Heat until it comes to a rolling boil. After the cake has baked and right out of the oven, pour the cooked milk mixture over the entire cake.
