1/2 cup of butter
1 cup of white sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/3 cup of unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking powder

Directions:
Directions:
1.) Preheat oven to 350ºF, butter an 8-inch square pan.

2.) Melt the cup of butter and combine with sugar, eggs, and vanilla in a large mixing bowl. Beat in cocoa, flour, salt, and baking powder. Pour batter into pan.

3.) Bake for 25 to 30 minutes.

4.) Let sit for about 15 minutes before serving.
