3 T cooking oil
1 T minced garlic
1 diced onion
2 lbs. Ground Beef or Chuck
32 oz. spaghetti sauce
1 cup water
¼ cup sugar
2 tsp. Salt
8 to 10 lasagna noodles
3 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
½ cup parmesan cheese, shredded
1 tsp. Basil
1 tsp. Thyme
1 tsp. Oregano
2 bay leaves
1 T black pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Brown garlic, onion, and beef in oil and drain.

Add spaghetti sauce, water, sugar, salt, pepper, oregano and basil to beef and simmer for 30 minutes.

While sauce is simmering, prepare lasagne noodles according to directions on package.

Cover bottom of large baking dish with sauce. Add layer of lasagna noodles, ½ of remaining sause, 2 cups mozerella and ¼ cup parmesean.

Add second layer of lasagna boodles then remaining sauce and cover with aluminum foil and bake at 350º for 30 minutes.

Take off aluminum foil, cover with remaining cheese and cook for 10 to 15 more minutes.
