Directions:1. The freezing canister must be completely frozen before making this recipe. In general, freezing time is between 8 and 24 hours. (To determine if it is completely frozen, shake and listen. You should not hear any liquid moving within the canister walls.) 2. Mix ingredients thoroughly in a large bowl. 3. Chill in refrigerator for half an hour to an hour. 4. Follow basic directions for making ice cream. (See order below.) 5. Dispense when complete (about 15-20 minutes). |

Notes: Place freezing canister inside outer bowl. Push mixing paddle firmly into center of canister with the auger side down. Twist the cover until you feel it lock into place. Place the motor unit on top and push down until it snaps into place. Place the brown dispensing assembly underneath the outer bowl with the lever pointing to the left. Rotate it forward. Make sure it is closed before pouring the ice cream mixture into the front opening. It takes about 15-20 minutes.
1-19-20 Yummmmmmm! Wendell won the Hershey's soft serve ice cream machine from Hy-Vee a few years ago. It came with ready-to-mix packets of chocolate and vanilla ice cream. We used this recipe when we ran out of packets. It is REALLY rich! I am anxious to experiment with other flavors!
