"I have long believed that good food, good eating is all about risk. Whether we're talking about unpasteurized Stilton, raw oysters or working for organized crime 'associates,' food, for me, has always been an adventure."--Anthony Bourdain
2 cups cooked, mashed sweet potatoes 4 cups self-rising flour Pinch of baking soda 1/4 cup sugar 1 stick butter, melted 1 1/4 cup milk
Mix together the sweet potatoes, butter and milk until well blended. Stir in the flour, baking soda and sugar. Shape the dough into a ball and knead about 8-10 times on a well floured flat surface. Roll the dough out in one inch thick and cut with a 2 inch biscuit cutter. Bake in a 400º oven on a greased baking pan for 15-20 minutes or until brown.
