2 c. sugar 2 eggs
½ c. Crisco 1 c. sour cream
½ c. orange marmalade 4 c. flour
2 t. baking powder 1 t. baking soda
½ t. salt 1 t. grated orange peel
Directions:
Directions:
Combine sugar, Crisco, eggs. Beat until well blended; add sour cream and marmalade. Mix well. Add flour, soda, baking powder, peel and salt. mix until well blended. Chill dough 1 hour. Drop by rounded teaspoonful. Bake 8-10 min. at 400º. Cool well.

Frosting:
3 c. powdered sugar, 1 stick butter, softened; ¼ c. orange marmalade, orange juice.

Combine sugar, butter & marmalade till well blended. Add orange juice 1 t. at a time until spreading consistency. Frost cooled cookies.

Mom did not have the amount of marmalade needed in the icing. I put in the 1/4 c. you may need to add a little more depending on taste. tlh
