¾ c Butter
2 c Brown Sugar
2 eggs - beaten
½ c molasses
2 tsp Vinegar
2 ¾ c Flour
1 ½ tsp Baking Soda
½ tsp Salt
2 tsp Ground Ginger
½ tsp Cinnamon
¼ tsp Ground Cloves

Pre-Heat oven to º350 Combine butter and sugar and cream well, until light and fluffy. Add beaten eggs, molasses and vinegar. Beat until well blended. In a separate bowl combine flour, soda, salt and spices. Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, and form into a ball. If the dough seems fairly soft then chill for 1 hour. * Shape into small 1 inch balls and roll in additional sugar. * place on ungreased cookie sheet and flatten, slightly, with a fork dipped in milk. Bake at º350 for 15 min.
