1 box red velvet cake mix (432g)
2 large eggs
6 T. butter (85g)
1/2 to 1 cup powdered sugar
1 tsp. cornstarch

Preheat oven to 375º
1. In a small bowl whisk powdered sugar with cornstarch. (I sift this stuff too.)
2. Barely melt butter in microwave and whisk in eggs.
With a wooden spoon mix in 1/2 of sifted cake mix until all combined.
Mix in rest of cake mix just until completely combined.
3. Chill dough in refrigerator 2 hours. (Chilled dough gives best crinkles.)
4. Scoop dough out, roll in balls and then in powder sugar mixture.

Bake cookies for 10 to 12 minutes.
Allow to cool for a few minutes before removing from cookie sheet.

Finally got a cake mix cookie to crinkle - it's all in the cold dough, hot oven. This shoulf work with any cake mix. Lemon and chocolate next.
