1 1/2 c. sugar
2 c. self-rising flour
2 eggs
1 20-oz. can crushed pineapple - do not drain
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. chopped pecans
1 c. evaporated milk
1/2 c. sugar
1 stick (1/2 c.) margarine
1 tsp. vanilla flavoring

Directions:
Directions:
Mix sugar, flour, eggs and pineapple together and pour into a 9" x 13" pan. Sprinkle the brown sugar and chopped pecans on top of batter. Bake at 350º for 45 minutes.

While cake is baking, place milk, sugar, margarine, and vanilla in a saucepan and bring to a rolling boil. Set aside to cool.

After the cake has baked and is out of the oven, poke holes in it, then pour the cooled milk mixture over it.

May be served warm or room temperature.
