2 lb.peeled and divined shrimp 1 lb. flaked crab meat 1/3 c. flour 1/3 c. veg. oil 2 c. onion chopped 2 c. celery chopped 1 c. bell pepper chopped 1 pkg (10 oz) frozen okra 1 can tomato sauce 1/4 c. chopped fresh parsley 1 can chicken broth 3 bay leaves 2 T. Worcestershire sauce(woo juice) 1 T. thyme 1 T. kitchen bouquet 2 tsp. garlic salt 2 tsp. pepper Pepper sauce to taste hot cooked rice
To make roué, heat oil in large cast iron skillet.When very hot not smoking add half of flour and stir constantly ..Add remaining flour. Stir rapidly with wire whisk. Add veggies and cook til tender. Add tomato sauce 2 c. water and broth. Simmer 1 hr. Add remaining ingred. except rice. Simmer for 15 min.
