1/2 c butter, softened
1 c sugar
1 egg
1 1/2 t vanilla
1 1/2 c flour
1/2 c cocoa powder
1/4 t salt
1/4 t baking powder
1/4 t baking soda
jar maraschino cherries, drained well (save juice)
1 c chocolate chips
1/2 c sweetened condensed milk
1/4 t salt
1-1.5 t maraschino cherry juice

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together butter, sugar and egg. Add vanilla, flour, cocoa, salt, baking powder and baking soda. Shape dough into 1" balls and place on ungreased cookie sheet. Put well drained cherry halfway into each ball. Melt chocolate chips, condensed milk, salt and cherry juice for the frosting. Spread frosting over formed cookies with cherries. Bake frosted cookies at 350º for 8-10 minutes until puffy.
