¼ C salad oil (vegetable oil)
3# Round Steak cut into 1" cubes
if you like it meaty - add 1# of ground beef
3 onions chopped
3 cloves minced garlic
¼ C Chili Powder
2 tsp. salt
1½ tsp. cumin
1 tsp. paprika
1 - 6 oz. can tomato paste
1 - 8 oz. can tomato sauce
1 quart water
1 tsp. Tabasco (optional) I leave out
2 - 15 oz. cans Brooks Mild Chili Beans

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oil in a deep pan- dutch oven- add beef, onion and garlic; cook until browned. Add remaining ingredients (except beans) and stir. Bring to boil; reduce to simmer and cook uncovered for 2 hours or until tender. Keep stirring so the bottom does not burn. Add the beans before serving about 30 minutes prior.
