2 cups sugar
⅔ cup condensed milk
⅓ cup cocoa
¼ tsp salt
2 tbsp butter
1 tsp vanilla
½ cup peanut butter (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
- Butter loaf pan
- In 2-qt saucepan, mix sugar, condensed milk, cocoa, and salt
- Cook over medium heat
- Stir constantly with handheld mixer until sugar is dissolved
- Continue cooking, stirring occasionally with a spoon or spatula until soft ball stage (235ºF-240ºF)
- Remove from heat
- Add butter, peanut butter, and vanilla
- Beat with handheld mixer until stiff
- Spread in pan
- Cool and cut into squares
