4 jars of Old English cheese
1 lb. of butter (soften)
2 loaves Peppridge farm bread - thin sliced
1 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 tsp. dill weed
1 1/2 tsp. beaumonde seasoning
1 tsp. tabasco sauce
dash cayenne pepper

(Grandma never used the cayenne or tabasco, though)


Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients in mixer.

Stack 3 slices of bread together.
Spread cheese mixture between slices and all around sides.
Place in freezer and partially freeze.
Cut into 4 or 6 pieces.
Return to freezer and leave until solid.
Bake frozen at 375º for 10-12 minutes.

***This recipe makes 96 canapes when stacks are cut into sixths.***
***Can be wrapped in plastic wrap and frozen for later use.***
