⅔ c Crisco
1 ½ c light brown sugar
1 T water
1 tsp vanilla
2 eggs
1 ½ c flour
⅓ c unsweetened cocoa
¼ tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt
2 c chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 375º. Place sheets of foil on counter top for cooling cookies.
Combine crisco, brown sugar, water and vanilla. Beat at medium speed until will blended. Beat eggs into mixture until creamed. Combine flour, cocoa, baking soda. and salt. Mix into creamed mixture at low speed just until blended. Mix in chocolate chips. Drop by teaspoon 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake one baking sheet at a time at 375º 7-9 minutes. Cool 2 minutes on baking sheet, then remove to foil to cool completely.
