Chicken Soup

Ingredients
Whole Chicken (stewing chicken the best)
1 medium or large onion (cubed)
3 celery stalks (including the leaves) chopped
1 small bag of baby carrots (sliced length wise into 4 pieces, for some reason kids love them this way and actually eat them.)
Salt & Pepper (to taste)
Bouillon cubes (optional) depends on the flavor you get from the chicken

Process

In a large soup pot (fill with water) add the whole chicken which has been cut into pieces along with onion and celery and boil on medium until chicken is done. Do not remove the grease this is what gives the favor to the soup.
Remove the chicken into a bowl to cool, once cool enough to handle, shred the chicken into bit size pieces and return to broth.
Add the cut up carrots. Simmer on low until ready to eat. Ready is 45 minutes to hour.
Taste and add bouillon cubes as needed.

Home Made Noodles or Kluski Noodles: Grandma Adams usually made homemade noodles but she would also us a brand of noodle called Kluski.

3 cups flour, ¼ teaspoons salt, 3 eggs, 2 tablespoon water
Mix flour and 1/4 teaspoon salt together; add eggs and water, 1 tablespoon at time, until dough holds together. You can use a mixer of made a well of the dough and add eggs, water to the middle of the flour.
Split dough in half. Roll 1 dough half on a lightly floured surface to 1/8-inch thickness. Cut dough into noodles 2 to 3-inches long x 1/4-inch wide using a sharp knife dipped in flour. Repeat with other dough half.
I don’t add the noodles to soup pot but add them to bowls for each person (otherwise the noodles absorb all your liquid).
