1 c. sour cream
3 Tbsp. butter
5 Tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
⅛ tsp. baking soda
3 eggs
1 pkg. dry yeast
3 c. flour

Nut filling:
1 lb. walnuts, finely chopped
1 stick margarine
¾ c. sugar
milk

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350ºF. In a large saucepan boil sour cream for 3 minutes, remove from heat. Add butter, sugar, salt and baking soda; mix well. Add eggs and mix. Stir in dry yeast; add flour and mix well. Knead on floured board. Let dough stand for 5 minutes. Cut into 3 equal parts; roll out thin and spread on nut filling. Nut filling: In saucepan melt margarine add sugar and nuts carefully, they may stick. Add milk to make it spreadable. Cool before spreading on dough, add more milk if needed. Roll up logs and place side by side on large greased cookie sheet. Let rise 1½ hours. Bake for 30 minutes. Brush with butter while warm.
