2 C flour
2 sticks butter
3 egg yolks
2 T vinegar
1/4 C water

Filling:
3 T flour
3 T sugar
1/2 tsp cinnamon

Directions:
Cut oleo into flour like you do pie crust. Add egg yolks, vinegar and water and mix well. Cover and refrigerate at least 3 hours or overnight.

Divide dough into 3 portions, and work with one at a time. Roll each one out on a floured cloth to about 10x15.

Make a filling for each of the 3 strudels, and sprinkle over rolled out dough. Slice 3 peeled or diced apples along edge of long side, and roll up, grasping cloth in each hand to guide.

Pinch edges together and bottom so it doesn’t run. Place each strudel on an ungreased cookie sheet and bake at 375 degrees for about 45 minutes. Strudels should be nice and golden brown, but not burnt.
