3/4 cup butter
1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
2 tbsp milk or cream
1 cup chopped raisins
1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
1 cup chopped dates
2 cups flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter, sugar, and eggs.
Stir in vanilla, milk.
Add fruit and nuts.

Sift dry ingredients together and add to wet mixture and blend well.
Wet two tablespoons and spoon onto cookie sheet one inch apart.
Bake at 350º for approximately 18 minutes.
