1 cup milk
1/2 cup water
1&1/4 cup of Self rising flour
1&1/4 cup of corn meal
Crisco

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients by bare hand and until thick
Alternate adding flour and corn meal until desired thickness
Rub Crisco in iron skillet
Pour in corn bread mixture
Bake @400 for 30 to 40 minutes or until cornbread separates
from skillet and browns or inserted knife or toothpick comes
out clean
