1 C Oleo or Crisco
3/4 C sugar
1 egg
1-1/2 tsp anise seeds, crushed
1-1/2 C flour
1 C whole wheat flour
1-1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 C Brandy
1/3 C sugar
1 tsp cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350ºF
Cream Crisco gradually with sugar- mix well
Combine flour, baking powder and salt
Add to creamed mixture alternately with Brandy
Begin and end with flour
Will be crumbly
Shape into ball and roll to 1/4" thickness on floured surface
Using 2" cookie cutter, cut and place on greased cookie sheets
Combine 1/3 C sugar and cinnamon
Sprinkle over cookies
Bake for 15-18 minutes
