Turn the oven on to broil.
Lay the bread out on a cookie sheet. Spread a lot of butter on each slice. Sprinkle sugar and cinnamon on top.Cook until the toast is golden brown.

As a child growing up I always LOVED Grandmas cinnamon toast. I can remember watching her to see how she would make it so I could learn to make mine just like hers. I thought wow all she is doing is using a lot of butter and sugar. Still to this day I cannot make mine taste even close to hers. She must of had that grandma love baked right in the toast.
