3 T. sugar
1 tsp. paprika
1 tsp. cinnamon
½ tsp. ground cumin
pinch of ground cloves
1 large egg white
2 c. walnut halves - about ½ lb.
2 c. pecan halves - about ½ lb.

Directions:
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350º. Lightly oil a rimmed baking sheet.
2. Whisk together sugar, spices, and ¼ tsp. salt in a small bowl.
3. Whisk egg white in a medium bowl until frothy, then stir in nuts. Add spice mixture and toss to coat.
4. Spread nut mixture in one layer in sheet pan. Bake, stirring once or twice, until dry and well toasted, about 20 mins. Loosen nuts from pan and cool completely.
5. Store in air tight container. Will keep about a week at room temperature.
