Personal Notes:
This recipe is one my mother cut down from the cookie recipe she made for 80 residents of a girls private dorm at the University of California at Santa Barbara. After my Dad died in 1963 my mother, who was working full time for Loop's Restaurants in Ventura decided to sell our house and move up north.
