3 c. sugar
½ lb. butter or oleo
¼ tsp. almond extract
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. flour (plain)
6 eggs
½ pt. sour cream
¼ tsp. salt
¼ tsp. baking soda

Directions:
Directions:
1. Sift flour 3 times.
2. Add baking soda to sour cream.
3. Cream butter and sugar well.
4. Add eggs 1 at a time, mixing egg into butter and sugar mixture after each egg is added..
5. Add salt and flavorings and mix well..
6. Add alternately sour cream (to which baking soda has been added.) and flour (sifted 3 times) mixing together well..
7. Bake in greased tube pan for 1½ hours at 300º - 325º.
No frosting needed.
Freezes well.
