2 ½ C Flour
1 C White Sugar
! C Brown Sugar
½ tsp Salt
½ C Shortening
2 eggs
1 C Peanut Butter
½ C Butter
2 tsp Vanilla
2 Tbsp warm water
3 Tbsp Baking Powder
Directions:
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350º
- Mix together flour, salt, and baking powder and set aside.
- Mix together sugars, butter, shortening, peanut butter and eggs.
- Combine sugar mixture and the flour micture to make a dough, adding water and vanilla as you go.
- Roll dough into balls and flatten with a fork.
- Bake for 12-15 mins

I put both Peanut Butter cookie recopies in this book, Gramma Young's and Nana Smith's. If I'm planning to bake all afternoon I make these ones because it's a big recipe and makes a ton of cookies. If I'm just making a quick batch for the Cookie Monster (Uncle Brian) who's looking for a "sweet treat" after dinner, I make Nana Smith's.
