Ingredients:
Ingredients:
Pan drippings - the more there is, the more gravy you will make

Flour

Water

Potato water drained from boiling potatoes for mashing

A few packets of soy sauce

Directions:
Directions:
Use the pan dripping from basting a turkey or roasted chicken, scraping the pan to get all the brown particles to use in the gravy.

Remove any skin dripping so you have just broth / juices and brown particles.
Remove excess fat floating on top.

Transfer the drippings to a saucepan and heat on low until ready to add the flour mixture.

Mix about a scoop of flour with about a cup of water in a shaker bottle
(shake well to reduce the chance of lumps in your gravy)

Drain boiled potatoes and save some of the water in a separate bowl to use later to thicken the gravy

Slowly add the flour mixture to the hot drippings, stirring constantly to blend the flour into the drippings

Continue to stir constantly and bring to a boil for a minute. If too thin, add some potato water. If too thick, add some tap water.

Add soy sauce packets for flavoring and brown coloring.
