3 cups flour
1 1/2 cup brown sugar
2/3 cup butter
3 large eggs
1/2 pound dates
1/2 pound candied cherries
1/2 pound candied pineapple
1 pound raisins
4 cups pecans, lightly chopped
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon nutmeg
1 teaspoon soda, dissolved in 2 Tbs milk
1/2 cup whiskey poured over fruit

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar and then add 1 egg at a time. Mix nutmeg and cinnamon with flour then add this to the butter/sugar/egg mixture. Add the soda and milk. Stir in the fruit and nuts. Drop by teaspoon on cookie sheet, sprayed with Pam or with parchment paper. Bake at 360 degrees for 10 to 13 minutes.
