FILLING:
½ Cup Sugar
½ Cup Water
1 pkg Dates
1 Cup chopped nuts

DOUGH:
2 Cups Brown Sugar
1 Cup Butter
3 Eggs
4 Cups sifted Flour
1 tsp Baking Soda
1 tsp Salt
½ tsp Cinnamon
Directions:
Directions:
1) Mix all ingredients to make dough and roll out on flat surface
2) In separate bowl, mix all ingredients for filling and cook in sauce pan until moist
3) Spread filling onto rolled dough
4) Roll dough into log and refrigerate overnight
5) When ready to cook, slice into ¼" or ½" thick pieces and bake for 10 minutes at 375º
