1 qt Sweet Milk
1/4 c Warm Water
1 package Dry Yeast
1 scant c Shortening or Margarine
1 c Sugar
7-8 c Flour

Directions:
Directions:
Mix Yeast with warm water. Put milk, sugar, and shortening over low heat and let shortening melt. Set off heat and cool to lukewarm. Mix yeast and water with milk mixture when cooled. Sift in flour until it comes loose from side of bowl. Work until smooth, put in greased bowl and cover with damp cloth. Let double in size. Pour out onto floured board and work until smooth. Make into rolls and let double in size and bake at 350º. Save left over dough in fridge, covered.
