2 c Water
2 c Sugar
2 tsp. Lard
1 box Raisins
2 c Flour
1 tsp Baking Powder
1 tsp Baking Soda
1 tsp Cinnamon
Directions:
Directions:
Combine water, sugar, lard, and raisins. Boil together 5 minutes. Cool and add flour, baking powder, baking soda, and cinnamon. (Add other spices, nuts, and preserves).

Notes:
Granny: I use every kind I have or can buy one cup or more of each.

N/A: This is like what I make, except I get pineapple and sugar until it candies.
