1 c Butter
2 c Sugar
3 Eggs (Add in one at a time)
1 c Strawberry Preserve
3 c All purpose flour
1/2 tsp Salt
1 tsp Baking Soda
3 tsp Cocoa
1 c Buttermilk
1/2 c Pecans (Rough Chop)

Directions:
Directions:
Cream Butter and Sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each. Add strawberry preserve and beat two minutes on medium speed. Sift all dry ingredients together and add alternately with buttermilk, beating vigorously after each addition. Add nuts last. Bake in two cake pans at 350º for 45 minutes. Frost with favorite icing.
