1 3/4 cup flour
Cake:

1 1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 cup canola oil
1 cup buttermilk
1 cup raisins
1 cup Smucker's seedless blackberry jam
1 t baking soda
1 t baking powder
1 t cinnamon
1 t allspice
1/2 t salt
1 t vanilla extract
1 cup (?) finely chopped pecans or walnuts
3 eggs

Caramel Frosting:

2 1/4 cup brown sugar
1 1/2 sticks butter or margarine
2 t vanilla extract
3 T white corn syrup
4 1/2 T milk
2 1/4 cup powdered sugar

Cake:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees, spray or flour 2 9 inch pans.
Put all ingredients in extra large bowl except nuts. Mix on low, increase speed to high until sugar is dissolved, fold in nuts, pour into pans.
Bake 40 minutes or until cake pulls away from sides of pan. Remove from pans and ice with caramel icing.

* May use 9x13 pan

Caramel Frosting:

Melt all ingredients except powdered sugar. Remove from heat and add powdered sugar. Stir until cool and it's at a good spreading consistency, spread on cake.
