Buttered 9x13 pan

CRUST

***Remove 1 cup of mix from one box of yellow cake mix. Put aside.

To the rest of the box mix add:
1 egg
1/2 c soft (not melted butter) I always use real butter in all recipes.
Press in buttered glass 9x13

FILLING
One large can Libby's prepared pie filling with spices added.
2 eggs
2/3 c milk
Mix together and pour over bottom crust.

TOPPING
Using the 1 c of cake mix you put aside,
add:
1/4 c sugar
1/4 c soft warm butter (not melted)
1 teas. cinnamon
Sprinkle on top of cake

Bake 350 45-55 min. ....When cool top with one large "Cool Whip" or even better top with "Real Whipped Cream" on individual pieces when you serve.
Refrigerate. Enjoy!

HOMEMADE PUMPKIN PIE MIX:
16 oz. can pumpkin
3/4 cup sugar
1 cup half-and-half or evaporated milk
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ginger
1/4 tsp. ground cloves
