1 1/2 to 2 cups plain flour
2 tsp baking soda
1 stick butter, melted
1 cup molasses
2 eggs
1 cup buttermilk
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp ginger

Directions:
Directions:
Mix molasses, melted butter, and eggs together. Sift flour and baking soda. Alternate adding flour mixture and buttermilk to the molasses mixture,beginning and ending with flour. Mix well. Add cinnamon and ginger. Pour into greased 9 X 13 in. pan. Bake at 350º oven for 25 minutes. Cool in pan at least 5 minutes before cutting.
