4 c sugar (in large pan)
1 can of evaporated milk
1/2 c butter

Directions:

Mix the above on the stove top and let the mixture come to a boil. Test by putting a small amount into cold water and seeing if it forms a soft ball. Continue cooking until it does so.

Pour in a bag of chocolate chips and 1 cup of chopped walnuts (optional). Stir until it starts thickening and feels like it is starting to set upl

Pour into a greased 9x13 pan and allow to cool. Cut and serve cold.
