16 c bread cubes
1 stick of butter
2 c white onion chopped
1 c diced celery
2 chopped Granny Smith apples
1 tbsp salt and pepper
3/4 lb Hot Italian Sausage
1 c chicken broth

Directions:
Directions:
Melt your butter and saute the onions, apples, celery with the salt and pepper. Add to bread cubes. Saute the sausage and cook thoroughly. Add to bread and chicken broth. Bake in the oven for 30 minutes at 350º covered with foil. If you would like the top crispy, uncover for the last 10 minutes.

We only spent one Thanksgiving with Grandma Cici and Grandpa Dickie. It was the last Thanksgiving she would have although she wasn't ill and none of us could have known that at the time. It is something I know we are all incredibly thankful we had. It was a totally spontaneous trip that I decided to take you all on at the last minute. I do not believe it was a coincidence!
