1/2 lb (8 oz) dry cottage cheese
1/2 pint sour cream
3 cups flour
1 cup butter and shortening combined (mix 1/2 each)
1 tsp vanilla


Sugar mixture:
1 cup sugar mixed to cinnamon to preferred taste.

chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 400

Sieve cheese, add butter and mix in flour, sour cream and vanilla. Dough should be soft. Divide into 6 pieces and wrap in wax paper overnight. Roll on floured board one piece at a time.

Roll out dough and sprinkle with sugar mixture, top with raisins and nuts. Roll starting at wide end and bend to form crescent. Put on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for about 20 minutes or golden brown, depending on your oven.
