1 1/2 cup unbleached flour
1 cup finely grated carrot
1 cup finely grated potato
1 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 pinch ground nutmeg
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup grated granny smith apples
1 cup raisins
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients together in a bowl. Put into small canning jars, filling only 2/3 full. Put in large pot with hot water on low heat. Steam for 3 hours, refilling water as needed to steam.

Serve with warm rum sauce.

Love this recipe I got it from Brent's Mom. It is a little work but it is an amazing dessert. Run sauce can be made with Rum flavoring.
