Ingredients:

Sauce:
3 T oil
1 medium onion
2 lbs of ground beef
2 cloves of garlic
1 can of tomatoes
1 can of tomato paste
salt and pepper
1 tsp sugar
2 bay leaves
1/2 tsp oregano

Cheese:
Mix together cottage cheese, parsley, 1 tsp oregano, 3/4 c parmesan cheese and 3/4 c mozzarella cheese

Cook lasagna noodles as directed

Directions:
Saute the onion in oil until it turns yellow
add the ground beef and cook until brown
Add the other ingredients and let simmer for 1 to 2 hours

Cook the lasagna noodles in water with oil.

Mix together the cheeses.

Alternate the sauce, noodles and cheese.

Bake at 350 for 1/2 hour


*****This is everyone's favourite! Grandma makes a really good vegetarian lasagna as well.
