Personal Notes:
This recipe is from the original 1950 Betty Crocker Cookbook, 1st Edition. This was Grandma Patty's favorite cookbook and many treasured family recipes can be found in this book. Mom loved this cookbook and wanted each of her girls to have a copy, so one year, she visited various antiquarian bookstores and purchased a copy for each of her girls. Help to keep up the tradition and pass down this book through the generations!
