1 stick butter, softened
1 block cream cheese, softened
3/4 c brown sugar
1 1/2 tsp instant coffee
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
1 1/2 c flour
1/2 bag chocolate chips

cream butter, cream cheese, and sugar
add coffee and vanilla
mix dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture
stir in chocolate chips

bake at 350 in 8x8 greased pan for 30 min

I am grateful to Carol for finding this eggless cookie recipe. It is a struggle to find good ones for Isaac. We have made this cookie bar recipe more than our regular cookie recipe and everyone loves it! I doubled it and spread on cookie sheet for the boys' graduation parties. Perfect for a group.
