Cookies:
½ cup shortening
1 cup sugar
2 eggs beaten
Salt
2 ¼ cups flour
¼ teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon vanilla
1 tablespoon milk

Glaze:
1 cup sifted confectioner’s sugar
1/16 teaspoon salt
2-3 tablespoon cream
½ teaspoon vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º.

Mix, chill, roll out and cut. Be sure to flour your cutting board and rolling pin. Bake at 375º for 12-15 minutes.

Glaze:
Combine sifted confectioner's sugar and salt. Blend in cream and stir in vanilla.
