¾ cup Crisco shortening
1 cup packed brown sugar
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup peanut butter
1 tsp soda in ¼ cup hot water
2¼ cup flour
½ tsp salt
Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º.
Cream shortening and sugar.
Add peanut butter, soda and water mix.
Add flour and salt.
Roll into balls about 1½ inch in diameter.
Place on cookie sheet, flatten with fork and bake 10-12 minutes.
