1 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter
1 egg
1 cup applesauce
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. ground cloves
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
1 tsp. baking soda
2 cups flour

Directions:
In large bowl, cream sugar, butter and eggs; add applesauce. Add dry ingredients. Bake 350º for 12 minutes on a greased sheet. You can frost with buttercream frosting.
