1 c. yellow corn meal
2 eggs
1 c. milk
1 large can cream style corn
1/2 t. soda
dash of salt

1 1/2 lb. ground beef
1 lg. onion chopped
1/2 pkg. cheese, grated
chopped jalapeno peppers, to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Mix batter; Set aside.
Saute meat; Drain off grease.
Put half of batter in heavy skillet, greased. Next layer cheese, meat, onion & peppers, put remaining half of batter on top. Cook in oven at 350 degrees, for about 1 hour.
