¾ cup butter, softened
¾ cup brown sugar
¼ cup white sugar
1 egg
2 tsp vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
2 tsp cornstarch
½ tsp salt
1 cup milk chocolate chips
12 caramel squares

Directions:
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350º. Grease muffin pan and set aside
2. In medium bowl, whisk together flour, soda, cornstarch and salt, and set aside. Meanwhile in a large bowl with an electric mixture, beat together butter and sugar until creamy. Beat in egg and vanilla to combine
3. Gradually add flour mixture, beating well after each addition. Once dough has come together, stir in chocolate chips
4. Drop about a tablespoon of dough in bottom of muffin dish, add caramel, top with dough and press gently to enclose candy
5. Bake for 12-15 minutes
