½ c. shortening (Crisco)
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
3 tbsp. buttermilk or sour milk
3 bananas
2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda

Real Lemon lemon juice

Directions:
Directions:
Work sugar into shortening. Cream together.
Add well beaten eggs and mix together.
Add in salt and soda. Mix together.

Alternate adding banana, flour and buttermilk/sour milk
(Do this twice)

Bake 350º 1 hour
(Test for doneness with a toothpick)

Cool on wire rack.

Sour milk: 4 tbsp. regular milk, add lemon juice
and stir until it looks kind of curdled or sour
