1 cup whipping cream
½ cup sour cream
½ cup butter
2 cups sugar
3 eggs
2 tsp peppermint extract
about 4½ cups flour
3 tsp baking powder
2 tsp baking ammonia (comes in glass tubes at Edelweiss)

Directions:
Directions:
Beat together the cream, sour cream, and soft butter. Gradually add sugar, beating well. Add eggs one at a time, beating well. Add extract. Sift dry ingredients. Add gradually to egg and cream mixture until it is a soft dough. Cover and chill overnight. Roll out fairly thick, almost ½ inch. Cut with cookie cutter. Bake at 325ºF for about 15 minutes. Should still be soft and not brown. Cool. Ice with butter icing if desired.
