1 lb. gr. meat
1sm. chopped onion
1 sm. can tomatoes
3 T. chili powder
1 1/2 c. corn meal
salt and pepper to taste
3 c. boiling water
grated cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Cook meat until done in a small amount of grease.
Salt and pepper to taste.
Add onion, tomatoes, and chili powder. Simmer while preparing mush.

Salt the corn meal and add to boiling water a little at a time.
Will make a thick mush.
Put 1/2 mush in bottom of a greased casserole.
Put meat mixture on top of mush and top with grated cheese.
Add remaining mush in small globs.

Bake 375 for 30 min.
